Shower Melts

If you don’t like baths, you can still easily bring the beautiful aromas into your shower!

This recipe is super easy to make, and extremely cost effective as well.

Here’s what you are going to need….

Baking Soda

Epsom Salts

2-3 teaspoons of water

20 drops of Essential Oils

Directions….

Add 1 cup of Baking Soda and 1/2 cup of Epsom Salts to a stainless steel or glass mixing bowl.

Slowly add 2 teaspoons of water and mix well. If mixture is not holding together, add another teaspoon of water.

Add your Essential Oils and mix well again.

Place into small silicone molds (something like this from Amazon would work well). Make sure to pack the mixture tightly.

Let them completely dry (may take up to 24 hours)

Once dried, very carefully pop them out of the molds and store in an airtight glass container.

How to use them….

Place 1-2 melts on the side of your shower, away from the direct stream of water. Once the water hits the melt, it will release the scent of the Essential Oils into the steam from the shower.

While you shower, relax and breathe in the awesome aroma of the oils!

Some fun aromas to try….

~ 10 drops Wild Orange, 10 drops Peppermint to help wake you up in the morning.

~ 20 drops Eucalyptus to help clear congestion

~ 12 drops Lavender, 8 drops Cedarwood to prepare for a good night’s sleep
